PUNCH Media Blog

It lives! So, what is it? The PMB is about the people and places we [the folks at PUNCH Media] experience in our travels and day-to-day running around through the streets of Philadelphia. It’s sometimes about cool stuff happening with our clients, also, it’s simply about positive experiences we’d like to share with you, and the folks we encounter along the way.

“Colin & I’ll be offering a straight dealer’s choice menu, which is to say that within some simple parameters you, the celebrant, present us, we’ll be drawing on our sizable repertoire of recipes to whip up some surprises. In short, there’ll be plenty to imbibe, loosely reined-in pandemonium, & lots of nervous laughter. The makings, in other words, of a memorable evening…,” says Guest Bartender Nick Jarrett [Bushwick Country Club, Dram, Clover Club and formerly of The Franklin].

One of New York’s finest barmen joins Head Bartender Al Sotack behind the stick at The Franklin Mortgage & Investment Co., when  super rad Thomas Chadwick heads down the pike to Philadelphia this evening.

Chadwick is a true aficionado who has also wielded superior elixirs from behind the bar at Williamsburg’s infamous Bushwick Country Club. These days, Chadwick owns one of Brooklyn’s most accomplished watering holes — Dram — a bar called out by both The New York Times and Chicago Tribune as one of New York’s best bars. He will be bringing with him a special menu offered tonight only. See Chadwick’s full menu below:

franklinthrillist“For redesigning Franklin Mortgage & Investment’s snack list, Supper got a brand new set of cocktails in return, including gems like the Espolon Reposado/ Campari/ Kahlua “Aftermath” and the Wild Turkey Rye/ Cocchi Americano/ Yellow Chartreuse “Odyssey & Oracle”, which easily trumped “Caravan & Miss Cleo” in the “Best Minivan and Fortune Teller” category.”

fathomreview“Mostly, the results are insanely tasty: a take on poutine with jumbo lump crab, squeaky mozzarella curds and spicy crab-stock gravy; the gooey fontina-and-lobster grilled cheese on shingles of Metropolitan sourdough; chicken-fried oysters whose zesty crusts preserve the silkiness of the bivalves inside.”
